On Tuesday, 1 January 2013, in the afternoon at 11:35, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Vaškių village, a Citroen Xsara Picasso ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.61‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
