On Thursday, 3 January 2013, in the morning at around 7:00, in Vilnius, on Naugarduko street, at the junction with Mindaugo street, a vehicle hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 68-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
