On Sunday, 30 December 2012, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Varnių street near No. 48B, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai Sonata and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Hyundai (47 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
