On Friday, 11 January 2013, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Klaipėda, on Kauno street, at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Fiat Bravo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Opel (29 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
