On Thursday, 10 January 2013, in the evening at 17:14, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 10.90), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Seat (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
