On Friday, 18 January 2013, at night at 4:04, in Vilnius, on T. Narbuto street, at the junction with Sėlių street, an Opel Corsa hit an obstacle. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Opel (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.71‰ blood alcohol). A 24-year-old passenger of the Opel was drunk (2.36‰). A 31-year-old passenger of the Opel was drunk (1.41‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
