On Tuesday, 22 January 2013, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Pagėgių municipality, on Rambyno street, at the junction with Žemaičių street, a Peugeot 605 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.44‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered.
