On Wednesday, 23 January 2013, in the morning at 10:30, in Utenos district municipality, Daugailių town, on Plento street near No. 10, at a gas station, a Mazda Xedos 6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.56‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
