On Tuesday, 22 January 2013, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Vilnius, on Šiltnamių street near No. 28, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Rover 414 and a Renault Laguna. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Rover (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered.
