On Wednesday, 23 January 2013, in the evening at 18:59, in Vilnius, on Laisvės pr., at the junction with Buivydiškių street, a Toyota Corolla hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. Two people were injured — a 17-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient) and a 21-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Toyota (11 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
