On Wednesday, 16 January 2013, in the afternoon at 14:52, in Vilnius, on Šilo street near No. 1, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Volkswagen Passat hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
