On Saturday, 26 January 2013, in the afternoon at 15:45, in Utenos district municipality, Bajoriškių village, a Skoda Superb hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Skoda (6 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He was drunk (0.61‰ blood alcohol). A 24-year-old pedestrian was drunk (0.91‰). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
