On Monday, 28 January 2013, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 41), a collision occurred. The accident was caused by the driver of the Volvo FH12 (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
