On Wednesday, 30 January 2013, at night at 23:45, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 112.24), a MAN TGS 26.400 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the MAN (20 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
