On Friday, 1 February 2013, at night at around 3:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 199.30), a MAN TGS 26.440 6X2/2 BLS rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the MAN (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, there was freezing rain, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
