On Friday, 1 February 2013, at night at 4:21, in Raseinių district municipality, Nemakščių town, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 192.80), a DAF registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the DAF (a citizen of Poland) (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, there was fog, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
