On Sunday, 3 February 2013, in the morning at 9:25, in Alytaus district municipality, on the Trakai–Rūdiškės–Pivašiūnai–Alytus national road (kilometre 68.33), a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 208 registered in Great Britain ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (20 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
