On Tuesday, 5 February 2013, in the morning at 5:40, in Kaunas, on Europos pr., at the junction with Veiverių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Seat Toledo and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
