On Sunday, 10 February 2013, in the morning at 6:14, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 33.30), an Audi A4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.32‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
