On Friday, 15 February 2013, in the evening at 17:13, in Klaipėda, on Priestočio street, at the junction with Šaulių street, an Opel Zafira hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 16-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Opel (14 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
