On Friday, 15 February 2013, in the evening at 19:51, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Saločiai–Kiemėnai–Didysis Plonėnas regional road (kilometre 11.80), a Saab 9-5 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Saab (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
