On Monday, 18 February 2013, in the morning at around 8:00, in Šiauliai, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 87, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Transit FT 350 and a Mazda 6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Ford (37 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
