On Tuesday, 19 February 2013, at night at 2:30, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 32), a Renault Magnum 430.19 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Renault (40 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 100 km/h.
