On Tuesday, 19 February 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Neries krantinė street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi 100 Avant and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Audi (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
