On Saturday, 23 February 2013, at night at 23:41, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 63), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.26‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
