On Saturday, 23 February 2013, in the evening at 18:41, in Jonavos district municipality, Ruklos village, on the Jonava–Žasliai–Kalniniai Mijaugonys national road (kilometre 8), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a BMW 330. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
