On Tuesday, 26 February 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 28, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Audi (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
