On Friday, 1 March 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Prienų district municipality, on Basanavičiaus 1 street, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo 740 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 80-year-old driver of the Volvo (43 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
