On Monday, 11 March 2013, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 45, a BMW 320D hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.94‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
