On Sunday, 10 March 2013, in the morning at 7:11, in Šakių district municipality, Lukšių village, on the Kaunas–Zapyškis–Šakiai national road (kilometre 51), a Mitsubishi Lancer ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
