On Tuesday, 19 March 2013, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Maironio street near No. 22, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz C270 and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (6 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
