On Wednesday, 20 March 2013, in the afternoon at 11:45, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl. near No. 234, a Mazda Millenia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mazda (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.94‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was icy. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
