On Tuesday, 26 March 2013, in the afternoon at 15:25, in Šiauliai, on Sodo street near No. 26, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a nenustatyta, a Nissan Primera and a Volvo S40. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the nenustatyta (17 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.86‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
