On Wednesday, 3 April 2013, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Šarkuvos street near No. 1A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Oldsmobile Alero and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Oldsmobile (5 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
