On Friday, 5 April 2013, in the morning at 8:50, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 75.30), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH, a Nissan Primera and a Narko D2MS11T11. Two people were injured — the 30-year-old driver of the Nissan (hospitalized) and a 58-year-old passenger of the Nissan (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Volvo (7 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober.
