On Thursday, 11 April 2013, at night at 1:22, in Vilnius, on Pedagoginis žiedas - street, at the junction with Geležinio Vilko street, a Volkswagen Passat ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.07‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
