On Thursday, 18 April 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Šilutės district municipality, on H. Šojaus street, an Opel Corsa hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 8-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. She had no driving licence.
