On Saturday, 20 April 2013, at night at 23:50, in Prienų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 65.60), a BMW 530 hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the BMW (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
