On Sunday, 21 April 2013, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kauno district municipality, Babtų town, on Kauno street near No. 8, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Volkswagen Passat registered in Germany. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.99‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
