On Tuesday, 7 May 2013, in the afternoon at 15:45, in Kauno district municipality, on the Babtai–Antagynės–Vandžiogala regional road (kilometre 6), a Daewoo Espero ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Daewoo, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.85‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
