On Saturday, 11 May 2013, in the evening at 19:55, in Vilnius, on Liepkalnio street, at the junction with Salininkų street, a collision with a motorcycle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Cagiva Raptor 1000. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Audi (16 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.89‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
