On Monday, 13 May 2013, in the evening at 17:50, in Kaunas, on Vytauto pr. near No. 1, a Ford Focus C-MAX hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 14-year-old pedestrian, who was crossing the carriageway where prohibited and was crossing the carriageway in a built-up area outside a crossing where there is a median strip.
