On Friday, 17 May 2013, in the evening at around 20:00, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžio aplinkkelis main road (kilometre 8.82), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Yamaha YZF-R1 registered in Great Britain and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Yamaha (24 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
