On Saturday, 18 May 2013, at night at 2:45, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Klaipėdos street, at the junction with Dariaus ir Girėno street, a BMW 524 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene.
