On Sunday, 19 May 2013, in the morning at 9:20, in Telšių district municipality, on the Viešvėnai–Luokė–Upyna–Dirvonėnai regional road (kilometre 5.19), a Mitsubishi Colt rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.31‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
