On Sunday, 26 May 2013, in the evening at 18:18, in Vilnius, on Ž. Gulevič street near No. 19, a Mazda 323 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to keep a safe distance. He refused a sobriety test, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
