On Sunday, 26 May 2013, in the evening at 19:12, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Raudonės street, a Mazda 626 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Mazda (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
