On Saturday, 25 May 2013, in the evening at around 19:00, in Alytaus district municipality, Kalesninkų village, a Volkswagen Golf hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.35‰ blood alcohol).
