On Tuesday, 28 May 2013, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Vilnius, on Kairėnų street, at the junction with Šilėnų street, an Audi 80 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 79-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Audi (15 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
