On Friday, 31 May 2013, in the afternoon at 15:39, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 113), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant registered in Netherlands and a Honda Jazz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Audi (12 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
